bio.

Charlie (he/him) was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. Growing up in the Caribbean, his childhood dream was to be a painter. A small part in the school play his sophomore year of high school changed that.

He began acting classes with Kirk Baltz, then after graduation, spent two years working closely with the late Trinidadian theatre luminary Raymond Choo Kong.

At 19, Charlie moved to New York, attended Hofstra University’s BFA Acting program for 2 years, then completed The Neighborhood Playhouse’s conservatory program.

Some of his NYC theatre highlights include the Off-Broadway production of Gemini at Theatre Row and the US premiere of Guillaume Corbeil’s See You at New Ohio Theatre.

Today, Charlie is happily nestled in Inwood, Manhattan with his tropical houseplants and mini Cavapoo Jinx. He loves cooking, running park trails, reading fiction romance novels, and boardgames.

Charlie’s still painting.
